studio sneak peek friday : like an old chair

I feel like an old chair, that my FATHER … sat there. Just sitting and waiting in HOPE for some new cover, some prettier cover to match the new me. The me in progress. The me still in transition. The me who will never see HIS glory … for that too will be a new me … one closer to sanctification … cause this life is all a process of HIM creating a clean heart.

The process of creating something new, from something old … like me or this chair … requires some ripping … here and there. Ripping is painful.

The process of creating something new, from something old … like me … requires some pulling of nail heads … here and there. Pulling is painful and nail heads leave little holes.

The process of creating something new, from something old … like me or this chair … requires some sanding of the wood. Sanding is painful and sanding creates heat.

The process of creating something new, from something old … like me or this chair … requires some … dreaming of new cloth. Glory!

The process of creating something new, from something old … like me or this chair … requires some … shopping for new cloth. Glory!

The process of creating something new, from something old … like me or this chair … requires some … stitching of new cloth. Glory!

…. requires some new nail heads … more GLORY

…. requires some wood filler … even more GLORY

…. requires some wood glue … now even more GLORY

add a little shine and you got NEW … Glory glory hal la lu ya

Ha! Yes and Amen to that! I feel that way about so much of life, always tearing out the old, unusable, the part I made (that God didn’t have any part of) and letting it go…and watching God move in with what He wants to do~

You are a breath of fresh air~ I needed to say those words outloud today…more GLORY LORD! I just want to see You at Your work today…Yes! :o )

    Hugs to you!
